Who Is Lexington Real Estate?

We are the team that manages and maintains the Real Estate Assets for the Palliser group of companies.

What would you do?

This role would be Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Supervisor is charged with the care and control of the day-to-day operations that will ensure well-managed, well-maintained building(s), emphasizing positive responses to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs in coordination and conjunction with the Owner's goals and objectives.

The key duties and responsibilities for this position would include:

  • Manages employees, professionals, and suppliers, while being responsible for meeting LREHL financial goals, negotiating and selling to customer needs.

  • Managing and delegating maintenance staff and contractors

  • Responsible for maintenance of buildings and grounds.

  • Provide observations about facility equipment, systems conditions, and deficiencies; and provide suggestions for enhancement and repair.

  • Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance of equipment and building systems.

  • Participate in and assist with facility-related projects.

  • Ensure work completed meets quality requirements.

  • Possesses a strong environmental, health and safety mindset.

  • Effectively interface with tenants, suppliers and contractors.

  • Required to work at heights when needed.

  • Year-round outdoor work required.

What do you bring?

  • Ability to work with staff in solving problems and ability to take direction and function as part of a team.

  • Previous building trades experience preferred.

  • CFM, FMP, and or PMP certification/designation preferred.

  • Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.

  • Knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards.

  • Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Advanced Computer skills/knowledge

  • Strong ability to work under pressure; self-motivated and self-directed.

  • Results-driven with the ability to take ownership of tasks.

  • Dependable and Reliable

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to be a strategic planner/thinker.

  • High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.

  • A trade certification or education in a trade or professional designation is of benefit but not required.

  • Exemplary time management skills and the ability to juggle projects and prioritize Hold a valid driver's license.

  • General working knowledge of hand and power tools.

  • Must be physically able to access roofs via access ladder.

  • Must be able to work independently.
