Akamai Technologies, Inc. Channel Support Analyst - Remote in Costa Rica

Join our Channel Support Team!

This team provides operational support to Partners and internal sales, enablement, and marketing. It includes onboarding, educating, and supporting Partners and staff across processes, capabilities, and tools related to the Partner Program and Portal. This team also manages the governance of Partners' compliance with Partner Program requirements and employment of program benefits.

Partner with the best

You will become an expert and trusted advisor on business processes and resources. You will often support and execute the complete lifecycle of a partnership, from contracting through operational setup and ongoing business. You will help improve the partner program and tools and make Akamai's Channels business more successful.

As a Channel Support Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing On-boarding of Akamai Partners, enabling partners on Akamai's Partner Portal, Akamai University, and related tools and applications.

  • Guiding sales teams on account setup and contracting practices to support global partner recruiting and operations efforts.

  • Educating partner users and administrators on portal tools, processes, transactions, and documentation. Delivering training and demos.

  • Building and shaping execution against complex & often multi-phased program plans, managing risks, issues, and dependencies throughout.

  • Handling and resolving partner support tickets and managing cross-functional team resolution of all cases.

  • Guiding optimization and expansion of the partner portal, partner support tools, documentation, FAQs, training, demonstrations, and processes.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 3 years of relevant Customer or Channel Support experience and High School Diploma and/or university degree

  • Demonstrate business level proficiency in written and spoken communication skills in Spanish & English

  • Be familiar with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com

  • Be detail-oriented, able to manage and collaborate on multiple projects, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Have ability to solve complex problems in situations that demand escalations or selection of resolution paths.

  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building trusted relationships with partners across various levels of seniority
