As QTS continues to grow, the standardization of how we maintain our facilities and execute work has become absolutely vital. This operational standardization requires refinement of process and tools to enable and maintain alignment across the portfolio.

The Facilities Operations Technical Administrator will maintain the Facilities Operations Smartsheet and Microsoft 365 process and ensure daily updates, permissions, and structure is maintained. This will require work with multiple teams across the organization and a strong desire to build technical proficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the Facilities Operations Smartsheet workspace and liaise with our Business Support Systems team as a Facilities Operations M365 representative.

  • Coordinate and schedule critical meetings to facilitate improvements within current processes

  • Support the leadership team in preparing records for security and financial audits as well as general compliance requirements

  • Assist with onboarding of new leaders for platforms and process related to this role

  • Develop communications regarding reviews and releases

  • Coordinate with the Workday/Learning & Development team to develop and implement training

  • Provide visibility of training completion to regional leadership, ensuring accountability

  • Work with the Training Department to develop and execute an effective onboarding process for new hires

  • Manage the Facilities Operations Training delivery platform, ensuring reoccurring training requirements are met

  • Ability to travel when needed for major projects and regional/portfolio wide efforts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • AA/AS degree or equivalent years of experience in critical building administrative support for operation or related experience in lieu of degree

  • Three or more years of experience in administrative and office support activities or related support role experiences

  • Three years or more of extensive Microsoft Office experience demonstrating proficiency

  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years of experience in administrative and office support activities or related support role experiences

  • Experience managing and administering training programs

  • Three or more years of experience working in a data center or other critical facility environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse constituencies and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

  • Adaptability and resourcefulness are essential. Analytical and reasoning skills necessary for evaluation processes, judgment, and finally independent action are critical.

  • Computer literacy, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks under pressure while maintaining strong customer service and a professional demeanor
