This role is responsible for architecting and developing partnerships in the Nordic countries. The role will be meeting existing and new clients to discuss how Medtronic IHS can best support and work on consulting, digital, and managed services that enable the partnership creation. The successful candidate should have a deep knowledge of the healthcare system and a commercial profile that enables the building of trust, competent problem-solving for our clients, and a strong foundation for our efficient account management.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Principal Healthcare Consultant (IHS), You will be responsible for:

• Conducting business development advisory and consulting together with the EMEA IHS capabilities.

• Being engaged in all steps of the service and solutions sales cycle from strategic account analysis; solution set architecture; consulting engagements; internal deal governance; contract negotiation and handover to the service activation team.

• Working with Enterprise Account leads to create transformational programs and partnerships in strategic accounts.

• Supporting the different Medtronic device and therapy business units to identify and execute growth opportunities through enterprise partnerships with nominated accounts.

• Positioning Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions as a partner in healthcare delivery with key decision-makers within the healthcare system.

Must Haves

• Experience in solutions design, delivery, and selling, for example, achieved through earlier roles in solutions and services sales or managing consultant

• A relevant master’s degree (for example technical or management) and several years of experience within healthcare

• Strong commercial acumen

• Thorough understanding of the Nordic healthcare systems including funding models, patient flows, decision-making processes, etc

• Strong analytical skills to understand local markets and customer needs and transform them into partnerships through consulting engagements

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and local language

• Being a team- and relations builder

Nice to Haves

• Clinical background

• Experience in how to work and communicate in international environments preferably in a matrix organization

You will be traveling for client meetings in Sweden and Nordic countries for up to 30% of your time. The Swedish office is in Stockholm, and the role will mostly be remote.
