The team : Our team consists of 5 engineers and is responsible for quant applications used for delivery of optimisation services for large financial institutions. We value working with passionate, talented and nice people who have fun together, while pushing ourselves and our systems to improve continuously. Early-Careers Quant Engineer Position Profile:

We are seeking talented and passionate individuals with a background in applied mathematics, optimisation , linear algebra, or numerical methods, coupled with a strong inclination towards software development. As a Quant Engineer in our optimisation Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive impacts on client portfolio risk profiles and operational costs through the application of advanced algorithms and optimisation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement optimisation algorithms and solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Conduct research and experimentation to enhance existing algorithms and develop innovative approaches to address evolving challenges in post-trade operations.

  • Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimisation .

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of algorithms through rigorous testing, validation, and optimisation methodologies.

  • Engage in rapid, iterative development cycles to deliver scalable and reliable solutions that meet client requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python or Java, with a strong foundation in software development principles and practices.

  • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and optimisation techniques, such as Linear Programming, with the ability to apply them in practical problem-solving scenarios.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning and development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic and diverse team environment.
