Opportunity Overview

As a Product Engineer for Teradyne’s Nextest division, you will assist in driving decisions for both test methodologies and software structure for Product Verification and Design Verification from a production test perspective. Your improvement efforts will play an instrumental role in achieving quality goals.

  • Evaluate hardware including HW / SW integration, HW debug, HW performance, statistical analysis, and setting of production test limits

  • Perform field failure analysis using available data

  • Conduct product performance and reliability analysis and perform system level, module level and component level troubleshooting

  • Interface with HW and SW Design engineering, Manufacturing engineering and other internal and external (subcontractor) groups to achieve desired improvement goals

  • Opportunities to direct and lead teams in a project management environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years experience including product engineering, sustaining engineering or similar role, with experience in Product Qualification and RMA process

  • Leadership experience as a project lead or team lead preferred

  • Experience in computer/electronic diagnostics and test development, including basic mechanical engineering

  • Knowledge of digital circuits to implement and debug precision measurement methods, including both functional and performance properties of electrical circuits

  • Knowledge of both analog and digital circuits and experience with component-level debug of PCB assemblies

  • Strong Data Analysis and statistical knowledge

  • System level knowledge of ATE is highly preferred
