Checkout Analytics group is consisted of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about data insights and has built expertise around root cause analysis which gets converted in to framework or a solution. As a member of the checkout analytics team, you will
Become a domain expert in PayPal Checkout, Payments and conduct rigorous data analysis to help improve customer experiences and product performance
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and architecture to design hypothesis-driven experiments; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results
Leverage Objective & Key Results (OKR) framework to identify checkout / payment product metrics and monitor product performance through dashboards and ad hoc analysis
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to influence external new or existing merchants
7-8 years of relevant work experience in analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations and presenting this to external client communications
Data driven mindset with degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics
Experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets
Experience with data aggregation using SQL (Teradata, MySQL or PHP), flat file or json payload handling through programmatic code, ETL tools (Informatica) or database experience is preferred
Fluent in Excel or ability to learn quickly on the job; experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python), visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview, and/or web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics) preferred
