PayPal Credit products play a vital role in fulfilling PayPal’s mission to democratize financial services. Within the Credit team, we are striving to reimagine our credit products to provide fair, fast and flexible products that responsibly enable our Customers to meet their financial goals. We are rapidly evolving the suite of credit offerings and are looking for a Sr. Director of Consumer Experiences to redefine Customer journeys & experiences.
As the Sr. Director, Consumer Experience, you will lead the vision, strategy, design, and execution of Customer touchpoints for our global product portfolio. You will build innovative experience flows, front-end capabilities, and own the experimentation portfolio. You will drive availability, and adoption, depth, and engagement with credit products across PayPal & partner properties. You are passionate about great design, rely heavily on data to make decisions, and are a great people leader. You will create experiences that set industry standards for visual design, clarity and comprehension, and efficiency and productivity.
You should be a thought leader in the online commerce space, comfortable setting direction and strategy across a wide range of constituencies, leading a global initiative portfolio, and using your consultative & relationship-building skills with partners both internal and external to PayPal.
This is a critically important role as PayPal Credit works to reimagine our relationship with Customers. This is an opportunity for the right person to create industry leading product experiences who cares deeply about building Customer trust through great designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Own Customer facing end-to-end experiences for new acquisition, service & post transaction interactions across multiple products and geographies
Lead development of experience standards, strategy, and roadmap for Customer Experiences
Synthesize and drive a 3- to 5-year strategic plan, working closely with the executive team, design, core product, and engineering to deliver the vision
Maintain a disciplined and aggressive learning plan, leveraging experimentation & research methods to continually optimize in-market experiences and inform new designs
Grow and manage a team of product managers and partner with designers/ engineers to deliver experiences/ capabilities both internally & externally
Work with stakeholders to guide the release or launch of new products or product innovations
Desired Skills and Experience:
10 year’s experience in product management and leadership, ideally in commerce, credit, or payments; Passion for great design and user experience
Proven experience in setting vision/strategy and leading execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives
Ability to develop tight partnerships with critical partners: design, engineering, and core product teams
Extensive use of applying analytics to design, including ownership of experimentation platforms/plans and extensive application of quant/qual research methods
Bachelor’s degree in design or a business discipline
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment Previous entrepreneurial experience or MBA is preferred
