Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the system architecture definition for Micron CXL memory and work with internal and external stakeholders to decompose customer requirements into implementation details and translate the definition into actual products.

  • Ability to drive and perform hands-on proof of concepts to gather data and establish clear value propositions to support technical proposals.

  • Ability to perform tradeoff analysis and make recommendations based on understanding of technical and business impacts.

  • Represent Micron CXL team in engagements with ecosystem, strategic customers, partners, vendors and industry standards to ensure that the products are built to meet the evolving customer requirements.

  • Drive for collaboration across Micron and industry to help deliver successful and differentiating Micron CXL products.

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for CXL products close collaboration with customers and external partners.

  • Optimize the performance, power, area, cost, and reliability for best-in-class solutions.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and technology standards related to CXL technology and applications.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience playing a system architecture leadership role.

  • Good understanding of x86 architecture, virtualization and security technologies.

  • Good understanding of memory, storage class memory and storage architecture and applications.

  • Experience with custom SoC/ASIC design and deep understanding of memory hierarchy, controller and phys

  • Experience in architecture space exploration methodology for product definition.

  • Familiarity with management plane stack as BMC, RedFish and associated applications such as telemetry.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Education:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Location:

  • Located in San Jose, California

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$207,000.00 - $363,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
