Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in San Jose, California. The role involves handling bookkeeping duties with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will be part of a team, working on-site, and your responsibilities will include support for tax-related tasks, maintaining excellent organization, structure, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key contributor within a team.

• Handle bookkeeping duties with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide support for tax-related tasks, including receipt allocation and recording.

• Maintain excellent organization and structure in handling bookkeeping tasks.

• Ensure clear and effective communication in all tasks.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including pivot tables and v-lookups.

• Apply knowledge of bookkeeping principles in daily tasks.

• Utilize SAP/Concur for various tasks.

• Handle tasks related to Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Data Entry, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in Bookkeeping

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close process

• Ability to handle Payroll

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Knowledge of SAP and Concur

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
