Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the examination and analysis of price proposals to ensure that they are in compliance with the Estimating System Manual and Government regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures price proposals are prepared in accordance with FAR, CAS applicable laws and regulations and Corporate Disclosure Statement.

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of sole source and competitive proposals, with varying contract types such as FFP, CPFF, and T&M.

  • Performs reviews of the application of indirect rates such as fringe, overhead, and G&A to costs such as direct labor, material, other direct cost, and Travel while assessing their cost allowability/allocability.

  • Assists in the review of pricing models and deliverables for all Business Development business lines.

  • Coordinates Green Team and Field Proposal reviews and integrates team member comments and findings into comprehensive reports.

  • Maintains the HQ compliance review process.

  • Assists the Director of Estimating and Pricing to ensure the accuracy of the Estimating System Manual.

  • Works with Pricing leadership on any DCAA audit activities.

  • Collaborate with audit teams to address inquiries and implement recommended improvements.

  • Will assist in developing training material and tools/templates as needed.

  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of pricing methodologies, policies, and compliance measures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in U.S./federal Government pricing.

  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, compliance, or a similar role.

  • Other Requirements:

  • United States citizenship required.

  • Must be able to work extended hours when required.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • In depth experience and knowledge of FAR, CAS applicable laws and regulations and Corporate Disclosure Statements desired.

    Skills and Technology Used:

  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, to include the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.

  • Possesses critical thinking skills to synthesize scenarios and diverse perspectives to problem solving.

  • Experienced in translating outputs of analysis into actionable insights.

  • Business/Pricing Compliance Acumen:

  • Possesses mastery and expertise in contract cost and price analysis.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of government procurement, Federal government contracts, regulations and procedures, and government operations/services.

  • Possesses understanding of and has experience in Business Development lifecycle processes (such as Shipley or other industry standards).

  • Experienced working with teams on the development of technical basis of estimate (BOE) and aligning the proposed solution to the costing along with constructing sophisticated pricing models.

  • Ability to maintain strict compliance with V2X policies and procedures relating to our Business Ethics and Code of Conduct, in addition to specific procurement regulations established by the federal Government.

  • Demonstrates the highest degree of safeguarding confidential, business, and employee data to include company proprietary data.

  • Strong communicator, both orally and in writing, including ability to foster effective collaboration and presenting findings.

  • Interfaces comfortably and effectively with a wide range of team members to include executive leadership.

  • Meticulous attention to detail to guarantee accuracy in pricing calculations and compliance measures.

  • Able to present financial information clearly and concisely.

  • Work quickly and efficiently; remain flexible to shifting of priorities. May work under time pressures.

  • Able to work in a dynamic organization by balancing multiple priorities.

  • Keen sense of prioritization with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex, and scaling environment.

  • Software:

  • Microsoft Office 365 suite, with advanced skills in MS Excel

  • SharePoint

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

  • USD $ 80,000 - 120,000

  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
