We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager interested in driving cross org initiatives that focusing on the Teams Tenant Health. You will be working closely with global product, engineering, and account management team to improve our strategic tenant health.

Tenant Health is a new project that aims to enhance the performance, reliability, memory, and quality of Teams products. You will need deep knowledge and technical skills in these areas and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams, analyze data, manage deliverables, and make tradeoffs. You will also define core metrics, build products (such as dashboard, tooling), and plan strategies to improve tenant health. It's a key role to motivate the organization to make a cultural change to start prioritizing Tenant Health.

Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and drive culture shift across Teams, CMD (Teams Calling Meetings and Devices), and Intelligent Conversation and Communications Cloud (IC3) to focus tenant health with proper data analysis.

  • Regularly present and engage directly with tenantsto share progress and listen the feedback. Leverage and analyze different tenant feedback signals to improve products.

  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders, such as account managers, customers, partners, and internal feature teams, to drive success and achieve goals.

  • Identify critical metrics for program performance and track progress against goals. This will involve diligent follow-up, dashboard creation, status communication, and low-code automation development.

  • Lead Monthly Teams Tenant Health Forum across Teams, CMD (Teams Calling Meetings and Devices), and IC3.Represent progress against goals in various forums (standups, status meeting, offline status reporting, etc.) to the Teams Leadership Team.

  • Identify opportunities to empower the engineering teams to monitor their features at tenant

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in cross-group and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate the needs and requirements from tenant perspective 

  • Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with managing complex projects with many partners. 

  • Experiencedwith external customer/tenant engagement.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
