JLL Porter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: REQ345242 Launch your engineering career at JLL! The Porter will maintain the lobby and common areas of buildings. Your tasks will include mopping floors, wiping down windows, dusting fixtures, and emptying trash. You will also service the parking area and restrooms. During certain seasons, you may need to clear walkways leading up to the building. The goal is to maintain all areas clean, and comfortable for all tenants and visitors. The Porter must have some professional cleaning experience or be familiar with cleaning products and equipment.

This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field. You will work as part of an onsite engineering team on the University of Pennsylvania campus in downtown Philadelphia. This position requires the Porter to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly.

What You'll Be Doing Maintain cleanliness of lobby and other common areas Spot mop floors and place caution signs Vacuum rugs Sweep parking areas as needed Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces Empty trash Replace lightbulbs Service restrooms Graffiti removal Property inspections Perform small repairs as needed

What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED certificate preferred Janitorial or maintenance experience preferred Valid driver's license preferred Familiarity with common cleaning supplies and hand tools Physical stamina Ability to work outdoors
