The First Line of Defense (FLOD) Partner – Tax/Finance in the First Line of Defense Center of Excellence (FLOD COE) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Issue and Incident governance for designated Functional Areas. The FLOD Partner will work in collaboration with the business to develop and maintain a strong risk management First Line of Defense. This position will support the business unit in identifying/reporting material control deficiencies and assessment of the effect on organizational objectives, ensuring risk owners have appropriate mitigation strategies that holistically address root causality, and collaborating with the business to achieve a competitive advantage through support of business unit initiatives. This person should be an exceptional relationship builder who can interact successfully at all levels of the company, from individual contributors to executive management. This person should have a proven ability to influence and make key decisions - and thrive - in a highly matrixed environment. This role will require a strong partnership across separate functional areas, lines of business and support areas (business owners, risk owners, etc.) to drive clear and transparent execution and reporting. The FLOD Partner will collaborate with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defense to manage risks within that functional area based upon guidance from management. He/she will facilitate the issue governance processes to ensure risks are well known and intentional decisions are made on how much risk will be taken. This position holds global responsibilities and will require coordination between APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North American teams, Corporate Compliance, Legal, Risk Policy, and Global Governance, Risk, & Compliance.

MS/MBA degree or equivalent
