Dynamic, global powerhouse operating in the thrilling sectors of Aerospace, Technologies, and Engineering is looking for a Tax Manager for the domestic team. Multi-billion, global, publicly traded firm with 10k employees worldwide is looking to hire for the corporate office, located in Norwalk, CT. They continuously push the envelope of innovation, guided by their commitment to spur growth and timeless excellence in everything they undertake.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation of consolidated Federal income tax returns.

  • Lead the preparation of State and Local income and franchise tax returns.

  • Supervise the tax provision process, including ASC 740 reporting and accurate tax balance calculations.

  • Stay abreast of SEC Tax reporting updates, execute tax & accounting research regarding technical challenges.

  • Oversee the creation of Federal, state, and local tax filings

  • Enhance utilization of tax compliance and software’s.

  • Develop and enforce improvements to existing compliance processes.

  • Contribute to the company's tax strategic planning with creative solutions.

  • Maintain strong SOX controls and protocols over tax accounting matters.

  • Provide support on diverse projects as needed.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 10+ years corporate tax ex.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, desirable advanced degree (Tax) and CPA certification.

  • Considerable experience with ASC 740.
