How you'll make an impact:

SXM Media is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to play a critical role in developing and managing successful advertising programs for key clients in our Enterprise team. This individual contributor will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, closing business, and developing business partnerships with advertisers and ad agencies.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
  • Create innovative sales presentations, incorporating industry research and campaign performance data.
  • Create innovative sales proposals and business partnerships.
  • Prospect and develop key senior level ad agency and company relationships in order to effectively build and maintain ad revenue vs. budget.
  • Prospect and close business while focused on developing Enterprise accounts.
  • Execute and deliver high quality responses to all Avails & RFPs
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain Enterprise account list that. Manage activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements.
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain a regional territory account list that includes primarily Fortune 500 companies and large agencies. Manage activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Create innovative sales presentations, incorporating industry research and campaign performance data.
  • Prospect and develop key senior level ad agency and company relationships in order to effectively build and maintain territory ad revenue vs. budget.

What you'll need:

  • Must have 5+ years digital & podcast advertising sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
  • Must have prior relationships with brands/agencies.
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over Zoom/phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive contacts and relationships with leading agencies and clients.
  • Deep understanding of the advertising marketplace with a focus on podcasting and streaming channels.
  • Extensive knowledge of interactive advertising with regard to positioning and technology.
  • Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline, and a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $106,500 to $155,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
