Desk Strategist (Citadel Americas Services LLC - New York, NY); Multiple positions available: Offered salary range of $155,000 to $175,000 per year. Provide analytical and tactical support to the Quantitative Macro team. Conduct quantitative research, run data analytics, and help in improving tools used in investment processes for a Quantitative Macro portfolio. Utilize quantitative and advanced statistical methods to complete data-intense projects across various asset classes. Maximize the usage of available tools and support in order to improve the content quality of the investment process and daily operations. Monitor and respond to incoming market information, economic announcements, and general trading activity to help manage portfolio risk and identify investment opportunities. Help manage risk and perform detailed PnL reconciliation for Quantitative Macro portfolio. Test and implement software change, develop algorithms, and improve strategy, tactics, and processes.Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field. Education, training, or experience must include: Managing portfolios for macro hedge funds; Performing PnL reconciliation; Developing tools and techniques for modeling and analyzing markets and instruments; Functionalities in MS Excel including financial modeling; and Communicating investment recommendations to clients or senior management.
