The Global Services HR Data team is seeking a Sr Analyst to support key initiatives that will help us shape and solidify the foundation we are building across our Johnson & Johnson Human Resources landscape, particularly within data quality. The Senior Analyst will play a significant role in ensuring that data quality standards, and integrations operate as designed and the data lands correctly in systems. Your main responsibility will be to analyze data sets, prepare compliance documentation, and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst, HR Data Management is a critical member of the broader HR Data Strategy & Governance team responsible for generating, integrating, and translating business needs into data requirements and products. This role will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Develop and complete UAT test plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and maintain detailed records. Communicate progress and generate summary reports for stakeholders.

  • Identify and document defects, anomalies, or deviations from expected behavior.

  • Work with development teams to prioritize and resolve identified issues.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify key data requirements and develop appropriate strategies for data collection, analysis, and visualization.

  • Use advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret sophisticated datasets and extract actionable insights that drive business growth and performance improvement.

  • Develop and maintain robust data governance framework to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Work closely with IT and data management teams to optimize data integration processes and troubleshoot any data-related issues or discrepancies.

  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality across various systems and platforms and implement control measures

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 4 (four) years of business/professional experience.

  • Analytic skill, the ability to derive insights and storytelling with data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).

  • Experience working and collaborating in a multi-functional environment.

  • Good communication, collaborating, and social skills including the demonstrable ability to adapt to different ways of working and various levels of leadership.

  • The ability to quickly learn the business and enterprise processes involved.

  • Experience in product ownership or working within a product centric environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to successfully prioritize tasks and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solid grasp of software development methodologies, quality assurance processes, and testing techniques.

  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow test cases meticulously.

  • Familiarity with testing automation tools and scripting languages (a plus).

Preferred:

  • Experience in Workday

  • Process Mapping / Data Mapping Experience

  • Project Management Skills

  • No challenges with ambiguity

  • Enjoys bringing structure to uncertainty.

  • Data Visualization, Data Quality, and Data Management experience

  • Prior experience working in Human Resources

  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices, and implementing data governance frameworks
