Job Summary and Qualifications

The Healthcare Partnership Manager (HPM) is an energetic and goal-oriented individual who acts as the face of Galen in local markets to support student recruitment, community awareness, and ultimately, expanding the pipeline of future nurses. The HPM is responsible for developing business to business (B2B) and business to customer (B2C) relationships to create qualified leads for all programs offered by Galen College of Nursing. This position is primarily responsible for events and activity in an assigned geographic area, generating potential leads, and building a pipeline of prospective students.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate demand and build a pipeline of prospective students by establishing relationships via healthcare and organization partnerships, creating 2-3 events per week.

  • Develop and implement Business-to-Business (B2B) strategies to increase networking opportunities that facilitate regular exposure of the Galen brand and programs at high-value account locations, including healthcare systems, staffing agencies, professional associations, and community colleges.

  • Develop and implement Business-to-Customer (B2C) strategies to increase enrollment at Galen using effective value-propositioning techniques, including solutions based consultative engagements to inspire those new to nursing or those continuing their nursing journey/career. This includes Galen alumni and on-campus small events and in-classroom visits.

  • Manage assigned geographic areas and implement strategies for market penetration to increase prospective student inquiries.

  • Represent Galen at community engagement/sponsorship events in which significant recruitment opportunities exist, in conjunction with healthcare partners or as singular Galen event

  • Create and execute event and activity plans, which includes conducting informational and enrollment/Galen overview presentations, such as lunch & learns for staff, to generate potential leads for Galen programs.

  • Be engaged and involved in campus and on-site/on-campus activities to build relationships with existing students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and business partners.

  • Initiate student enrollment process from lead generation prior to passing the prospect along to the Enrollment team or Call Center.

  • Leverage college CRM to maintain a prospect database and to support the consistent execution of contact strategies.

  • Leverage reporting and provide projections regarding lead flow & pipeline performance to management as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned, including being creative in your approach to building your pipeline.

Position Requirements:

Education:A Bachelor’s degree or five years of related experience with a minimum of 60 college credits completed with demonstrated progress towards a Bachelor’s degree.

Special Qualifications:Three years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management experience. Established healthcare network strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and sales presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication skills. An entrepreneurial and determined attitude in order to meet performance targets, and confidence to work independently without daily oversight.

Computer/office software proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM. Ellucian Recruit CRM experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment:

Position requires mental activity, reading, planning, preparing, evaluating, and decision-making. Position requires planning, preparing, evaluating, and decision-making. Physical demands include lifting and/or carrying event necessities such as computer equipment, banners, promotional items, paper goods, tablecloths, etc. This can occur on a regular basis.

Travel required up to 50%. Combination of day travel with overnight stays. Changes from week to week.
