Aerotek Industrial Electrician in Milford, Delaware
Aerotek is hiring for an industrial electrician IMMEDIATELY! This position is a direct hire offering full benefits.
Description:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting of electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and effect required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements. Will also perform maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit
breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits. Conducts insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine
condition and effects repairs or replacements as required. Supervises and participates in the installation and/or alteration to electrical
systems in manufacturing facility. Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required. Maintains electrical system maintenance histories notating date, and extent of repairs and/or alterations
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3-5+ years experience in electrical trade (industrial experience preferred)
Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program (preferred)
Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
Ability to work effectively within team and take direction from leadership
