Role overview.

If you are passionate about technology, experienced in translating customer business initiatives into technical solutions and workflows and have in-depth Autodesk product and domain knowledge in BIM for Buildings area, you will be a strong candidate for this newly created role.

Focused on the Italian Building business you will work with our Autodesk Sales teams and Channel Partners in a pre-sales capacity, using your practical skills, innovative thinking and technical vision.

You will manage technical aspects of our pre-sales conversations with customers to accomplish customer business initiatives and earn status as a trusted advisor and technical expert. You will as well support our Channel Partners in their sales efforts and learning process.

You will report to Senior Technical Sales Manager.

We support hybrid working schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Advise customers based on in-depth understanding of their business processes and knowledge of our technology and solution portfolio, Buildings design and BIM Solutions.

  • Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations, responds to commercial proposals, assess feasibility, and suitability of proposed solutions.

  • Deliver technical discovery sessions with customers to define most efficient use of Autodesk solutions.

  • Maintain a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of the current technologies of your domain (BIM for Building, and related Building technologies), and insight into the industry best practices, business processes, and offerings.

  • Develop technical content / sales presentations for use in presales activities and for sales automation content libraries.

  • Collaborate with territory sales teams, Product Specialists, Customer Success, and Partner sales teams.

  • Improve the relationship with Technical Sales in Channel Partners to upskill and support business

  • Provide feedback to product development teams and provide sub-industry level input to the yearly planning process.

  • Provide product demonstrations and workflow presentations at customer-facing events, both in person and webinars.

  • Conduct professional product presentations and demonstrations in large forums that are Autodesk sponsored to generate sales and meet revenue objectives.

  • Promote Autodesk solutions through social media to build their industry profile and be respected as a Technical Expert.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of Italian and English

  • Technical knowledge of using the following applications:

  • Revit, BIM Collaborate Pro, and other AEC Collections products and Autodesk Cloud solutions.

  • Good understanding of BIM for Buildings workflow processes and Infrastructure Design workflows

  • Team player

  • Able to travel Italy, EMEA & US in addition to other global locations
