Digital & Technology is significantly revising its operating model with main objectives to improve value for Diageo business via enhanced strategic capabilities, simple workflow of tasks translated in teams that have clear ownership of deliverable along the value chain.

Customer Value Stream team will be leading the strategy, design, delivery, implementation and support of various Commercial products.

Our ambition is to be the digital leader in our industry and the D&T Customer Business Analyst play a crucial role in making this a reality in partnership with our digital, marketing, and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct Market Discovery – thoroughly document business requirements in digestible formats

  • Translate ‘Discovery’ features into a prioritised roadmap, well-defined product requirements including epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria

  • Collaborate with multi-functional team– marketing, ecommerce, architecture, designers, product owners, data, analytics, to ensure a suitable ‘customer approach’ solution is agreed on

  • Handle and run requirements workshops with Business and IT Key partners

  • Translate requirements into user stories or specifications that can be worked on by developers

  • Maintain backlog of requirements and ensure requirements meet the products' definition of ready

  • Present the requirements to large audiences and be prepared for Q&A

  • Understand the end-to-end solution, (technology, data, process) and be able to demonstrate to key partners

  • Challenge the status quo and work towards standardisation

  • Maintenance of Product backlog in Agile Management Software (Jira, Azure Dev Ops)

  • Ability to own projects and work with global teams.

  • Lead the business use cases for the data and analytics workstream from envisioning through the analytics product delivery lifecycle

Skills required

  • Digital, Marketing Technology, and Analytics solutions for websites knowledge is preferred

  • Agile experience desired including previous use of JIRA, Azure Dev Ops

  • Preferred knowledge of marketing data for performance management (ie, google analytics, salesforce marketing cloud, learning platforms, advertising performance, customer behaviour)

  • Client-ready presentations via Powerpoint

  • LEAN SIX SIGMA accreditation preferred

  • Experience with tools such as Visio, Lucid Chart, Power BI, Google Data Studio, other visualization tools

  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution focussed team (Project/Product)

  • Consistent track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first approach

  • Superb communication and key partner management skills

  • Ability to partner with and influence global functions, markets, and external partners to deliver on our commitments

  • Experience working with Global CPG customers

  • Domain Knowledge in Digital marketing, Direct to Consumer, eCommerce, Marketing Technology, Retail, and respective process areas preferred

  • Domain knowledge of eB2B, CPG planning, Order to Cash process areas are highly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of data integrations and inter-connectivity between systems

  • Ability to understand technical designs

  • Must have a strong business/operational process experience with a flair for process improvement and ongoing process changes
