The Sr HR Manager will be reporting to the VP People Global Functions & CEO Luxembourg Bank and the role is located in Luxembourg.

A typical day for the Senior HR Manager will include:

• Overseeing all people matters associated with employees in Luxembourg • Serving as an escalation point and working closely with HRBPs, Legal and other COEs such as Reporting, Comp & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to manage all people issues associated with the Luxembourg bank • Attending weekly business leadership meetings and providing a people perspective • Ensuring core processes are executed and we meet our company legal and compliance standards • Supporting employee engagement activities and interact with the leaders and employees • Leading discussions with the Staff delegation for Luxembourg in conjunction with the HR Consultant for Luxembourg

  • You have a proven track record as a developer of talent, able to facilitate talent reviews and drive a talent focused people agenda

  • You have reported to and worked for senior business and HR leaders and can articulate, drive and lead a HR agenda independently

  • You build and maintain strong, trust at all levels of the business and collaborates with HRBPs, Legal, COEs, Staff Delegations and external vendors.

  • You manage escalations related to external dependencies, record management, disability management, diversity management, unemployment, labor authorities and government bodies.

  • You lead projects and initiatives related to policy development and implementation

About You

  • You have 7-10 or more years’ experience in Human Resources in a global organization

  • You have proven track record in working successfully with Senior Leaders

  • You possess a strong background in Talent management and development

  • You have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, its interpretation and implementation.

  • You are skilled and passionate about coaching and developing manager capabilities.

  • You have a strong analytical mindset, able troubleshooter, adept at analyzing large amounts of detailed information and recommending appropriate solutions to senior business leaders.

  • You can demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and to build strong trust with client groups and colleagues.

  • You have an ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing high volume workload.

  • You are fluent in English and French

  • Ability to support Luxembourg Board preparation as required

  • Experience working with remote teams

  • Ability to use effective listening, probing and investigatory skills to handle complex, sensitive enquiries

  • Broad HR general knowledge.
