Philips Visual Content Editor in Lodz, Poland
The Visual Content Editor is responsible for the creation of a consistent stream of impactful, global and scalable visual content to be leveraged across various platforms, including digital, print, and multimedia. This role is part of Philips’ global Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE) and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, create and edit content targeting wide-ranging internal and external audiences.
Your role
As an integral member of the Editorial and Visual Design team within the CCoE, your main responsibilities as Visual Content Editor are to:
Analyze and translate content briefings into compelling visual content assets (such as presentations, social media content, infographics and more)
Create effective visual communications by understanding the effect on the audience and the context in which it will be communicated
Give visual editorial guidance and direction to enable creation of high quality, consistent content
Drive efficiency, efficacy and financial gain through standardization and scaling of our content activities
Deliver projects with a flexible and dependable approach, with a focus on high quality and an ability to meet tight deadlines
Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines, key communication and team ambitions
Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively within team and to stakeholders
Your team
You report to the Head of the Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE is a team of communication specialists who oversee global Philips strategic communications planning and programs, content strategy and creation, social and digital channel management and related measurement. It is part of the global Communications & Brand function.
You’re the right fit if:
You have minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual content and design, preferably in a big company
You have strong Graphic Design skills (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign), additionally video editing and animation skills are an advantage (Adobe Premiere/After Effects)
You have demonstrated track record in creating high quality visual content and you have an ability to provide visual design guidance and creative direction across various visual content types
You have fluent English language skills (C1 or higher)
You have bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in visual (communication) design
You have ability to work as an integral member of a multi-functional team and independently if necessary
You are curious, energetic, result-oriented and pro-active person with strong organizational skills
You are able to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders (internal clients)
