Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Environmental Scientist in Laurel, Maryland
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist 1-3 years' experience for our Laurel/Baltimore region. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.
Successful Candidates must possess the following experience, skills and education:
Prepare effective reports and deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
Preparation of Phase I ESA's
Prepare accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and similar project documentation
Ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.
Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A desire to grow professionally
BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
