Job Title: Change Management Practitioner

Location:  Lake County, IL USA

Compensation:  $76.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance.  Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $175,000.00

    Change Management Practitioner Job Description

    We are looking for an enterprise level Change Management Practitioner who will develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption of technical changes. The Change Management Practitioner’s changes are implemented by the Innovation, Architecture and Infrastructure(IAI) team in the IT department of a major pharmaceutical client. The Change Manager will, together with the project and program managers, successfully execute the project.  They are responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of the current state

  • Documenting the future state

  • Creating detailed change plans using our community of practice standard methodologies and templates (based on the Prosci methodology)

  • Developing plans to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors

  • Ensuring that the change plans and deliverables are integrated into the project plan

  • Effectively communicating the need for change to all stakeholders, including employees, managers, and IT partners

  • Iterating the plan during the project rollout based on new information and feedback

  • Engaging stakeholders throughout the change process to ensure their buy-in and support. This includes executive leadership

    Change Management Practitioner REQUIREMENTS

  • MINIMUM 5 years of experience in Change Management, including in depth experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Proven track record demonstrating an ability to adapt communication style, techniques, or methods to meet client specific needs, observe and interpret behavioral queues, listen with empathy to understand users’ frame of reference.

  • The Prosci ADKAR Model Change Management Certification required

  • A demonstrable track record of understanding  how people go through a change and the change process, preferably in a large scale enterprise environment (ADKAR)

  • Candidate should be well versed in the full Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft 365

    Change Management Practitioner Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies, plans and deliverables

  • Apply the IAI Community of Practice structured methodology process and tools to lead the change management activities

  • Ability to ask the right questions at the right time of the right people to understand the manage the change

  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

  • Create communication strategies to build awareness of the change

  • Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.

  • Ensure alignment with communications policies, procedures, and channels

  • Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements, and support of the design and delivery of training programs as needed.

  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics

  • Consult and coach project teams and stakeholders on change management best practices

  • Coordinate efforts with communication and training specialists

  • Integrate change management activities into the project plan

  • Track, report and escalate issues as needed

  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress in collaboration with the project team.
