Design Center Product Consultant I

Location: Onsite at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Contribute to advancing the Kohler Brand by assisting Kohler Design Center customers realize their kitchen and bath aspirations and influencing Kohler sales across all businesses.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong product knowledge base across all Kohler plumbing products.

• Develop product knowledge across the Kohler family of businesses.

• Greet guests, consult with, and specify product for medium/large customer projects, assist Interior Designers with projects as assigned.

• Qualify customers to provide the appropriate level of service and promote design appointments.

• Maintain comfort giving large group tours of the Kohler Design Center, including the museum.

• Develop a comfort level in product specification and design conversations.

• Coach peers in best practices.

Skills/Requirements

• High School Diploma required.

• Strong customer service orientation, prior experience a plus.

• Self-motivated.

• Confident conversationalist.

• Pleasant phone presence.

• Basic design knowledge in design preferred.

• Prior Kohler product knowledge preferred.

• Weekend work required.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $17.45 - $21.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
