Johnson & Johnson is recruiting an Integration Lead Engineer for an advanced technology platform. An integration lead engineer designs develops and maintains the underlying infrastructure and technologies that enable the development of software applications.

This might involve jobs like developing scalable, high-performance systems, analyzing and fixing problems with current systems, and investigating and applying new technologies to enhance system performance and reliability. T

The Lead Engineer should be well-versed in software engineering and computer science fundamentals, have practical expertise with programming languages, and be knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure technologies. The Lead Engineer may need to work with other teams and collaborators to ensure that the platform meets the company's needs. As such, they should be exceptional at problem-solving and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and reliable integration solutions based on business requirements and industry standard processes.

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of integration solutions.

  • Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration engineers and developers throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead the technology lifecycle management and Product API catalog, including the definition, creation, and maintenance of technical interfaces

  • Ensure timely adoption of new technologies and innovation, select and resource ideas to explore via ideation sessions where necessary

  • Integration Architecture: Design and architect integration solutions using technologies such as Web Method, SAP BTP, MuleSoft APIs, microservices, data transformation tools.

  • System Integration: Lead the integration of new applications, systems, and services into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve complex integration issues, providing timely support and solving assistance to resolve system discrepancies.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including integration specifications, technical diagrams, and process workflows. Generate reports to track integration performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Cultivate collaboration and communication among teams, collaborators, and external partners to ensure the success of integration projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Requirements / Qualification:

  1. Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  2. Business Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Operational Excellence.

  3. 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in integration engineering, with a strong focus on designing and implementing integration solutions using the Web Method.

  4. Proficiency in integration technologies such as Web Method, RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, message brokers, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  5. Experience with integration patterns, data modeling, and data transformation techniques.

  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  7. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and collaborators.

  8. Experience in SAP BTP and MuleSoft is a plus.

  9. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.

  10. Willing to upgrade the technical skills for other technologies as well.

  11. Hands-on experience in building the Terraform scripts for infrastructure as a code.

  12. Kubernetes experience will be an advantage.

  13. MuleSoft Runtime Fabric implementation or maintenance would be an advantage.

  14. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
