BMO Financial Group Sr Manager - EFM Quality Assurance & Control in Jacksonville, Florida

Provides oversight, governance and monitoring of Fraud operations to drive consistency and quality ensuring that internal control processes are adequate and functional. Develops and implements the integrated roadmap to guide the review, design, development, implementation, and ongoing operation of quality practices and management processes in alignment with established standards. Ensures quality assurance procedures clearly outline the approach for testing, aligned with regulatory expectations and unit procedures.

  • Defines, implements, maintains and reviews processes to ensure quality and compliance with Bank and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversees the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance workstreams.

  • Maintains standards and monitors compliance and effectiveness of operations processes.

  • Communicates QA results to stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of results and expected actions.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert/trusted advisor on relevant regulations and policies.

  • Makes recommendations to senior leaders on new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify business requirements and opportunities for improved operations management.

  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.

  • Participates in identification of operations governance opportunities and related data/information specifications.

  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

  • Influences and negotiates.

  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.

  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.

  • May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.

  • Supports the resolution of issues by coordinating stakeholders in the information chain.

  • Defines, implements, and documents quality measures and provides guidance on how policy requirements translate to business processes.

  • Leads/oversees the management of vendor relationships and provides guidelines for execution; ensures that all agreements are met as per requirements.

  • Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.

  • Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (i.e. Fraud expertise, regulatory control testing experience)

  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.

  • Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.

  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth / Expert.

  • Able to manage ambiguity.

  • Data driven decision making - In-depth / Expert.

Compensation and Benefits:

$100,000.00 - $185,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
