Provide inpatient medical care from admission through discharge, returning patients to their primary care physician at the time of discharge. Perform medical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, treatment and patient care of hospital inpatients. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Engage in occasional performance of critical care procedures consistent with quality patient care. Serve as accepting physician for referrals from on-call physicians. Requirements: M.D. or equivalent foreign degree, plus completion of residency in Internal Medicine. Possession or eligibility for WV medical license. Employer will accept a foreign equivalent of a U.S. M.D. degree.
