Job Description

An employer is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team to support their website modernization effort. This company is looking to continue modernizing all of their websites, and are in need of additional support of an IT Business Analyst. The IT BA will be responsible for going through a discovery phase with the stakeholders to understand what is needed and most importantly from a website functionality standpoint. They will be responsible for understanding the agency's mission and the challenges with the current website, and help the project team define and develop requirements to modernize and improve the website. The IT BA will utilize search engine optimization and google analytics to help understand website traffic for each side and look at how they can continue optimizing this. The IT BA will need to ensure they are developing requirements while working within the restrictions of the Sitecore Content Management System following the client parameters and ensuring best practices for content writing and the overall design process. The goal of this effort is to modernize all company websites and optimize the most important features and aspects of each site, to have the biggest impact within the allotted time period for the project period per website.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or related tool

Experience writing user stories and developing requirements that include User Acceptance Testing

Previously supported a website modernization effort or has a background/understanding in content design or content accessibility teams to support design efforts

Ability to make recommendations and strategize on gathering and developing requirements to support website modernizations Experience with Sitecore CMS

Background in state government null
