Your team.

The Solutions Group is responsible for the development of innovative solutions for our customers and their operational implementation, from intelligent asset health solutions with AI and autonomous machines to digital twins of technological processes and MES systems. In particular, the focus here is on combining conventional automation technology with "state-of-the-art" digitalization.

Your future role.

We are looking for a personality who enriches conventional technologies with digitalization topics, co-develops new concepts and pushes them forward with enthusiasm. You will strengthen our digitalization team in the development and implementation of solutions based on various innovative technology platforms.

• Conceptual design and system integration of digital systems in the interaction of digital platforms and intelligent sensor technology as well as network structures, based on the technological tasks of our customers

• Evaluation of specific technological challenges in the integration of our solutions into customer applications

• Technical coordination and support of different teams from our digital solution units working together on customer or R&D projects

• Provide technical support to sales in the preparation of relevant proposals and assist in project acquisition by making decisive technology-based contributions

• Strategic contribution to the further development and continuous participation in the daily development work on the portfolio item "Advanced Stockyard Management System "SIMINE®MAQ", including autonomous machine operation, 3D models (digital twins), integration of intelligent sensor technology for data acquisition and implementation of excellent 3D user interfaces and dashboards

• The support of our internal and regional partners through technical consulting and training complete your activities

Your profile.

• You own a university degree or doctorate in automation engineering, computer science or a related field of study

• You have several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment (preferably basic material / bulk material industry including practical experience and you could also gain experience in conceptual design and integration of systems

• You have a good technological understanding of the relevant industry

• Furthermore, you have profound knowledge and experience in the digital environment (programming languages, databases, architectures)

• Knowledge of the PLC environment is an advantage (e.g. SIMATIC TIA), as well as knowledge of industrial communication is an advantage, as is knowledge of the physical principles and modes of operation of e.g. LiDAR, RADAR, dGNSS or UWB and other novel sensor systems

• Knowledge in agile software development is an advantage

• Conceptual, systematic thinking and analytical skills enable you to quickly understand complex customer problems and consider them in the conceptual design of individual software solutions

• You are a very good team player in the environment of sales, product management, technical experts and regional companies

• You are fluent in German and English with a general willingness to travel worldwide (< 20%).
