Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst will perform financial planning and analysis activities for the organization. This person will act as a liaison between our fund managers and the Investment Committee. This entails planning, forecasting, reporting, analyzing and consulting on all activities related to the company’s capital and portfolio investments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning/Forecasting process

• Coordinate the annual planning process for the organization

• Develop a monthly forecasting process for the stores and manufacturing areas

• Manage the long-term planning process

• Responsible for cash flow forecasting and providing analysis for the company

• Analyze

• Analyze and report results on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis to management

• Utilize analytical models to aid in understanding all aspects of the business

• Perform analysis by market, state, and region

• Benchmark results against competition

• Identify trends and recommend courses of action to management

• Provide useful and relevant information to the organization

• Perform financial analysis on proposed capital projects

• Analyze capital projects on a post-completion basis

• Research/Recommendations

• Introduce new technologies and approaches to financial systems

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend efficient alternatives

Skills/Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance

• Experience in financial management is required

• Financial modeling expertise

• Financial experience within a retail organization is preferred, but not required

• M.B.A. desired, but not required

• Ability to work overtime

• Must be able to relocate to Eau Claire, WI
