PerkSpot is searching for a Sr. Manager of Engineering to join our Engineering team! Founded in 2006, we are on a Mission to Save Our Members Money by providing exclusive access to the best discounts available - anywhere. We ensure employees see offers curated to their interests, allowing them to save on electronics, home goods, meal delivery, mortgages, travel, and all the other little—and big—things that will make life a bit easier.  

What you’ll accomplish:  

• Lead a growing team of engineers, technologists and leaders. 

• Be responsible for technology developed by your team in each phase of a project design, implementation, code review, QA and deployment to production. 

• Identify and deliver solutions and strategies to push the boundaries of our tech stack to handle scalability and performance goals 

• Actively mentor and coach all direct reports, including the next stage of leaders and managers to continue the team’s growth 

• Manage and maintain SLAs for our web platforms 

• Work on improving our Content Management System, Umbraco. 

• Work collaboratively with their team to identify and develop the talents of each individual 

• Support the team to help them achieve the objectives set forth 

• Hire and work to maintain outstanding talent for the team 

• Keep you team’s vision aligned with the bigger picture in mind 

• Lead all Quality Control Policies & Procedures 

• Maintain inventory of 3rd party libraries used in the source base 

• Manage business administration processes such as BCP / DR, Pen Testing, PCI Compliance, WCAG, Incident Response, etc. 

What we’re looking for: 

• At least 5 years experience managing a complex team of Software Engineers covering multiple disciplines 

• 5+ years of experience in leading complex, technically-challenging, cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery. Web site develoment preferred. 

• Experience with Microsoft Technologies such as .Net, SQL Server, and Azure. 

• The ability to communicate cross-functionally across various teams, organizations and internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts on product initiatives 

• Encourage a data-driven culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of consumer applications and in-house systems to help scale the company 

• Experience and interest in machine learning and AI
