Conduct training program and learn ins and outs of trading systems and the engineering principles that underpin trading decision-making. Handle pricing diverse sets of financial instruments and guarantee systems are safe and controlled in an environment with no room for error. Operate at peak efficiency in even the most extreme market conditions. Build systems. Perform work in several different capacities including designing and implementing software programs, reviewing the software development of others, onboarding new hires, participating in our summer intern program, and being on operational support. The design and implementation of software programs requires interacting with stakeholders to acquire a set of requirements, developing a plan, discussing with stakeholders the plan and then writing, testing, deploying code to production to execute the plan. Post deployment, continue to monitor the performance and correctness of the systems and continue to iterate as needed. Be part of the review cycle at the company so as other progress through the various stages of their execution, responsible for the reviewing design documents, code, and deployment plans. Provide feedback on issues, concerns, and ideas. Train new team members to design and develop code and train on how to interact with other members of the organization. Provide an assessment of the interns, so the company can decide whether to extend future employment opportunities with the company. Provide operational support for all programs the team manages. This involves being available to contact for issues, troubleshooting erroneous behavior, raising awareness to management of any concerns, and implementing fixes to address issues as they happen.

This position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field. The applicant must have 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Computer Programmer, or other occupation involving software engineering within the trading industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Algorithms, data structures, and concurrency; (2) Systems programming concepts; (3) Coding in C++, C#, C, or Java; (4) Programming (python); and (5) Full stack, including networks, hardware, OS, databases, web servers, and applications.
