PayPal platform team is looking for talented and passionate engineers to solve problems of scale and distribution. Primary job responsibilities areDesign and Develop software products for the Infrastructure team at PayPal. It requires the candidate to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.Work with architects, cross functional engineering teams, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions. Enhance and support existing product capabilitiesDriving high-level and detailed technical design documents, and active participation in design reviews

Strong Java experience.
Experience in Hadoop and NoSQL technologies is preferred
Background working in infrastructure team that build large scale system
Strong communication skills
Strong software design, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong collaboration skills to handle complicated project delivery
Prefer 2 years of development experience working in a software infrastructure/framework team
The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and team player, a strong driver for results and continuous improvement. The candidate should be technology savvy with solid track record on building scalable platform software .
Bachelors in computer science or equivalent
