Product Owner: Global Ops, Enterprise Product, Compass CS and Admin Tools
As a Product Owner in global operations, equipping our teammates with the information that they need to assist our clients is of upmost importance. Our applications, Admin Tools and Compass CS, enable our front office teammates to view all contact and account information needed to provide a world-class service to customers. These tools also provide guidance to our teammates in relation to policies, regulatory obligations, and standard operating procedures, which should be applied within Global operations. The PO role is responsible for working closely with our business partners to design systems that maximize Teammate productivity, as well as ensuring all of PayPal's products are appropriately supported within our systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners
Understands the overall product vision, clearly conveys the vision through communication and plans for own features/project, and aligns feature/project priorities based on it
Identify tool dependencies/interfaces and communicate project status updates, issues and risks to team
Work with dependencies to unblock any issues to enable project remains on schedule
Create and maintain (or assisting, where appropriate) program and project plans, including the overall schedule and dependency map required to ship features on time with high quality
Actively look for opportunities to engage and interact with customers to develop a strong understanding of customer behavior and needs
Demonstrate effective team work across disciplines
Follows all paths to a possible solution independently before escalating
Support processes with cross-functional and distributed contacts, successfully drive them from kickoff through completion
Learning to filter most relevant data from multiple sources to understand customer issues
Responds to customer issues, investigates solutions, coordinates response from appropriate parties, and follows up to ensure resolution
Stay focused on the product goals despite change, ambiguity, or stressful situations
