As a Product manager for Homologate and Certify you will be leading a product team based in FBS India to deliver IT capabilities and drive product modernization initiatives that are part of the Homologate and Certify Roadmap. You will also interact with a Global team in NA, EU, and China.

• Responsible for driving the vision, strategy and roadmap of products for Regulatory Compliance Management product line.

• Responsible for Delivery of products through product steering and prioritization of demand following the process.

• Responsible for technical and architectural guidance to the teams while identifying opportunities to implement microservices.

• Drive agile practices and behaviors within the product team, through demonstration of automated testing, refactoring, CI/CD

• Actively assesses the overall health of the product to sustain and continuously improve PDO/Service's SDPI metrics.

• Responsible for managing purchase service contracts as warranted.

• Responsible for developing talent, subject matter experts and high performing team.

• Focus on operational excellence and deliverables with high quality.

• Manage project budget, including planning, actual and forecast financials.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure delivery within agreed scope of work.

• Lead product release plans and drive deployment of new capabilities into production.

• Foster CI/CD pipelines with integrated code quality

• Emphasize on reuse and microservices architecture.

• Focus on human centered design approach before development starts.

• Focus on iterative development and Minimum Viable Product

• Adopt best practices that will make the team more agile.

• Use metrics as a tool to shape and align work, anticipate demand, open conversations, and learn

Must Have

• Bachelors or master’s in computer science or engineering discipline (specifically Automobile / Mechanical is preferred)

• 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT including minimum 5 years Product Management expertise and Agile Software development.

• Good communication, collaborative and influencing skills.

• Proven ability to work closely with all levels of management in varying areas of business and IT.

• Develop and Maintain knowledge of regulatory solutions.

• Knowledge and experience in application migration to Cloud (GCP/ Azure)

• Develop Strategies with E2E processes mindset to arrive at implementable solutions that adds business value.

• Vendor Management and negotiation skills

• Experience in running Product Driven Organization agile teams.

• Hands-on with technology (Development tools / Software management tools)

• Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical solutions with a platform mindset.

• Technical know-how in service-oriented architecture, development of APIs / Microservices on Google Cloud Platform with Tekton CI/CD deployment pipe automation is a must.

• Technical know-how in Java, Postgres SQL, Angular, MongoDB

• Demonstrated ability of DevSecOps mindset with full ownership of development, security, and operational support aspects of a product

• Ability to manage complex integration and dependencies across various products, product lines and product groups.

• Strong people management, team building and personnel development skills - ability to motivate.

Nice to Have

• Domain Knowledge of Automotive Industry - specifically Manufacturing space preferred

• Prior knowledge / Work experience is Vehicle Compliance space will be an added plus
