Job Description

We are looking for Senior / Principal level Software Developer to join a fast paced and growing brokerage/trading organization within a large financial institution. This team is responsible for a next generation trading platform that is going to be crucial to the company's future success. It has recently been launched into production and is receiving so much traction and interest that the team has to grow significantly and quickly.

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will work with a distributed team in locations throughout the US and India, and will contribute to code reviews, take on a feature to work on, collaborate with the team, and ultimately be involved with end-to-end delivery. They will be joining a team of 20, broken up into two squads that focus on equities and crypto within the next-gen trading platform. The platform is a Java application, and the team uses Spring Boot, is heavily reliant on Kafka and Mongo. This individual should also have experience with system design skills, proven problem solving skills, and self-sufficient.

Skills and Requirements

10-15 years of experience as a backend Java Developer

Spring Boot experience

Kafka experience to build real-time streaming data pipelines

Experience working with MongoDB

Effective Communication Amazon EKS

Experience working on an application hosted in AWS

Domain (trading, brokerage) experience null
