Minimum qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in product management.

• Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

• Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the product ideas, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to gather user requirements and convert them into a product idea.

As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.

• Develop and execute a product roadmap for Google Play Books, aligning with Google's overall strategy and objectives.

• Define product requirements and specifications, ensuring that new features meet user needs and business goals (e.g., business growth, buyers, engagement).

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teammates to design, develop, and test new features.

• Manage the product launch process, coordinate go-to-market campaigns, and train support teams.

• Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
