In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google develops a diverse set of products and services. Fundamental to these efforts is ensuring that those services individually and collectively respect user data. The privacy and security teams are focused on building advanced protections into Google products.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of variables, polarities, and considerations and will need to consider short and long term solutions, policy in the industry, the Google customer experience, regulatory compliance and law, and reducing or elimination through automation, among many other factors. You will also be responsible for the creation of infrastructure and tooling on which Google will rely on for proper data protection.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and requests, communicate knowledge to the team, and incorporate user feedback, user research, and technical requirements into a complete idea.

  • Create and modify ideas for the portion of the product portfolio you own.

  • Define and refine the approach for creation, modification, and adoption of technologies by customers.

  • Define and create materials to aid adoption of key customer facing products (e.g., roadmaps, customer playbook, support playbook, go-to-market materials, etc.).
