Google AI Product Manager, Google Cloud Databases in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in product management within cloud, SaaS, or enterprise.

  • Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the product idea, defining the go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with AI/ML products.

  • 5 years of experience building and shipping products related to Databases or Data Management.

  • Experience with relational databases and building cloud database services.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As an AI Product Manager for Databases, you will be a technical/domain expert who manages how AI is infused in the portfolio to make databases products stronger, as well as how we enable customers to build more AI infused applications and workflows.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

  • Drive AI strategy and roadmap for the databases portfolio, including generative AI requirements on databases.

  • Deliver innovative features to support novel use cases by bringing advanced technology and creating a positive user experience.

  • Partner with business development and go-to-market teams to build growth strategies.

  • Partner with engineering, research, and key stakeholder teams to align roadmap and OKRs across Google Cloud. Engage with customers and industry partners to understand their needs and build platform features to enable use cases.

  • Communicate product strategy to executive leaders, engineering, and cross-functional teams to influence/gain consensus and required resources to deliver.
