The Boost Portal team is building a highly scalable, front-end application framework, using the most bleeding edge technologies. We force multiply the output of our entire engineering organization, enabling hundreds of developers to concurrently deliver continuous innovation for our customers every day.

We are looking for a high caliber Sr. Front End Engineer to lead the development of a project with strategic significance and high exposure. In this initiative, we will tackle some of the most intriguing problems in software architecture and modern UX development. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, customers, and other engineers to help define the scope of the product. You will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to front-end system architecture, feature development, and product strategy. As innovators, we embrace new technology and you will be empowered to guide the direction of the technology choices we make.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

• 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience

• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

• Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
