S&P Global Senior Business Analyst in Bangalore, India

The Team:

Our Product Management team is comprised of subject matter experts, business analysts, and product owners, dedicated to enhancing our products and services to ensure we keep ahead of our customers’ needs. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for delivering projects and features on time, across all our Screening Solutions products. We work closely with our Business Development, Operations and Support teams to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations and deliver a first-class service.

The Impact:

Customers reference our Screening Solutions products as part of their regulatory and compliance obligations, relying on us to identify sanctioned securities, reporting requirements, and tax withholding.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bringing structure and organiation to our book of work while also taking on broader individual projects in support of Screening Solution’s strategic direction.

What’s in it for you:

This role will require working closely with the supporting Product, Operations, and Technology teams as well as our customers. You will work independently to deliver based on defined timelines, have analytical skills to examine and evaluate complex datasets, and possess strong communication skills in order to collaborate across internal teams and with the customer.

Responsibilities:

Working with our existing global teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with our customers to understand their needs and use cases and recording any feedback appropriately.

  • Understanding our platform and practices to assist with the design of new features and functionality.

  • Investigate options for design choices, implementation strategies, and screen layouts.

  • Assist internal and external users to help them gain the maximum benefit when using our platform.

  • Be responsible for delivering your own book of work, making use of available time and resources.

  • Working with customer stakeholders to capture requirements and communicate the status for key deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in a Computing or Analytical discipline

  • 5+ years’ professional work experience in a product or analytical role within a financial technology company.

  • Financial knowledge of corporate actions, indices, ETPs or fixed income.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document and discuss potentially complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

  • Experience in communicating and coordinating with internal/external groups.

  • Good Knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, requirement documentation, stakeholder management, use case definition and other Business Analysis techniques.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience in project management.

  • Experience with presenting and reporting to senior stakeholders.

  • Agile Project Managing Training.

  • Working Knowledge of Azure/JIRA.

  • Microsoft SQL Server experience.

  • Previous sell-side experience.
