Key Responsibilities:

• Lead from front to establish Analytics & AI/ML CoE by hiring best-in-class resources , creating strategic roadmap, and owning KPIs & reporting

• Collaborate with global business teams to understand the problems and design scalable solutions.

• Apply statistical and machine learning methods to analyze large, complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and inform company strategies.

• Identify and understand the necessary data sources for projects and efficient ways to clean and transform it.

• Work with Global Technology to ensure that solutions are up to current standards and best practices.

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict outcomes and improve decision-making.

• Build presentations to clearly communicate project statuses and results.

• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and build new skills in data science, machine learning operations, and technologies and platforms .

  Basic Qualifications:

• B .E in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with 6 + years prior relevant engineering experience OR Advanced Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with and 4 + years prior relevant engineering experience .

• Experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role .

• Experience developing people, including individual goal setting, performance management, and talent development .

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English .

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration and driving alignment across diverse teams.

• A deep understanding of business drivers, organizational dynamics, and industry trends in data science and analytics.

• Deep understanding of statistical techniques, such as parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression

• Advanced experience in Python/R/SQL /Hive , preferably with cloud deployment experience .

• An understanding of how analytics solutions generate value for the business and how to calculate and demonstrate this value.

• Experience in building models that have been deployed to production.

• Experience using big data batch and streaming tools (Spark, AWS tools, Hadoop , Databricks )

• Self-starter with high level of intellectual curiosity .

• Strong analytical and hardworking problem-solving mindset

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense Processes from Design to Manufacturing to After Sales & Support

• Broad understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals and associated components.

• Experience standing up new teams and building a positive professional culture.

• Experience developing PowerBI /Qlik dashboards/AI-ML Models /LLMs

• Familiarity with setting up LLM with millions+ parameters & inherent computing infras tructure & costing model

• In depth knowledge and experience in Data Governance, Architecture and Platforms

• Experience with data & text mining

• Strong learner who is comfortable learning new libraries and frameworks

• Experience working in an agile environment.
