Realtor.com is looking for a talented, passionate, self-motivated researcher with a strong mixed method research background to complement the existing Research and Insights team. The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of brand, marketing and advertising research, solid data analysis & visualization skills, with excellent storytelling, communication and presentation skills.

What you'll do:

  • End to end management of quantitative and qualitative research studies (from scoping and objective setting to final deck writing and presentation) that brings the Voice of the Consumer to Realtor.com

  • Be a survey expert for the Marketing team - create and analyze surveys using tools like Medallia to program, run and analyze data using crosstabs.

  • Create Consumer Journey Maps, in conjunction with Experience Research to articulate where, when and how Consumers interact with real estate transaction tools.

  • Lead consumer ease of use benchmarking studies on the site/app in conjunction with Experience Research to understand how our site/app experience stacks up to competitors and how we are improving the experience for our users.

  • Oversee and run consumer research community, building an activity pipeline and managing appropriate research questions for the methodology.

  • Build a learning plan and research pipeline to tackle stakeholder business questions and execute on this learniHere, you’ll partner with a diverse team of experts as you use leading-edge tech to empower everyone to meet a crucial goalng plan throughout the year.

  • Act as backup for Brand Health tracking and CSAT studies, able to manage these independently to ensure there is no interruption in delivery of these reports, if needed.

  • Synthesize research information and insights across studies to understand the underlying story told by the data and develop recommendations for the organization.

  • Be a masterful storyteller - create clear, compelling presentations that illustrate and communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations for the organization.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience conducting brand, marketing or advertising research such as brand equity tracking, ad effectiveness tracking, concept testing, journey mapping, etc., either on the client side or at a market research vendor

  • Experience as the lead on both qualitative and quantitative studies

  • Experience as a focus group/IDI moderator.

  • An innate curiosity to dig beneath the data to connect the dots using both quantitative and qualitative findings is a must have.

  • Ability to design and program questionnaires using tools like Medallia or other survey tool package

  • Experience using Advanced Excel and other quantitative analysis tools such as SPSS, Snowflake, or R

  • Ability to present quantitative findings to a non-quantitative audience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, marketing, statistics, psychology, sociology, or research with strong coursework related to quantitative analysis.

  • Experience in consumer segmentation and/or journey mapping is a plus, but not a requirement.
