Key Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency with iOS software development

  • Extensive expertise with Swift, iOS or macOS fundamentals, and core frameworks

  • Experience building programmatic iOS Views (preferably using SwiftUI)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including looking beyond the first answer for hidden issues

  • Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions

  • Creative/critical thinking and high attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

Description

The Human Engineering Software team works closely with many teams around the company to build powerful multi-platform tools. Responsibilities include: · Gathering project requirements and proposing solutions · Designing, building, and maintaining iOS applications · Architecting complex data storage (relational, non-relational, block, file) · Writing backend logic for data organization and processing · Building powerful and intuitive client apps (iOS and macOS) · Proactively proposing and implementing ideas · Full-stack ownership (communicating with key stakeholders, design, implementation, and deployment)

Education & Experience

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience with asynchronous Swift patterns (preferably using Combine)
    • Full-stack web development experience
    • Server Administration / DevOps
    • Extensive experience with UNIX shell
    • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
