CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

PLANNING

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet demand forecasts and production targets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and resource utilization.

  • Leads regular communication with key stakeholders on production plans at specific locations, providing monthly updates on yearly plans. Proficient in communicating with co-manufacturers and leading quarterly business reviews.

  • Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Manage materials inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

  • Utilize SAP Planning Modules and digital tools to effectively strategize and execute plans. Maintain accurate Master Data and System Parameters to ensure SAP and Capacity Modules integrity. Optimizing their use supports end-to-end planning, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.

  • Utilize inventory management systems and tools to track and report on materials usage, inventory levels, and procurement activities, dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Support product lifecycle management initiatives, including new product introductions, line extensions, and discontinuations.

  • Balance Immediate and Long-Term Priorities: Seek to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals.

  • Deliver Results: Focus on the critical few objectives that add the most value and channel own and others' energy to consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Maintain finished goods and material inventory levels within the parameters set by inventory policy.

  • Monitor levels and continuously adjust future production and purchases as necessary.

  • Review "age of stock" reports to avoid the risk of slow-moving and obsolete product.

  • Review inventory levels and warehouse capacity, initiating and coordinating necessary product movements to prevent out-of-stocks, out-of-date issues, and overstock/warehouse capacity problems in support of redistribution and production activities.

  • Create replenishment loads optimizing costs to support redistribution activities and create production orders optimizing costs to support the supply chain network.

COLLABORATION WITH NAOU REGION AND CO-MAN OPERATIONS:

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners (Procurement, Co-manufacturing , Production Plants, Etc) to ensure all raw materials, ingredients, concentrate, capacity are available to support production planning and redistribution across all plants and to ensure supply chain continuity

  • Collaborate and Partner with Commercial and Demand Planning to ensure In and Outs, Customer Promotional Activity, Customer Strategic Changes are successfully delivered by the Supply Chain Work cross functionally to ensure supply chain continuity Lead Limited Time Offer Programs and collaborate with Brand Teams for Discontinuation, SKU Rationalization, and Innovation

PERFORMANCE TRACKING & MANAGEMENT:

  • Understand key supply chain performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, case fill, etc.) and seek solutions to improve these metrics.

  • Report out performance results, current business status, and future risks via Weekly Hot Spots, QBR, S&OE and S&OP meetings.

  • Ensure the redistribution plan and production plan meet Supply Chain targets Identify, investigate, document, and seek solutions for potential supply chain risks Provide documentation, assumptions and support for Weekly Hot Spots, S&OE and S&OP meetings.

  • Report on close dated inventory and work to reduce Breakage Damage and Loss

  • Imports & Exports Good Ideas: Relentlessly seeks, shares, and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside of the Company and embraces change introduced by others.

COMMUNICATION:

The communication needs to be clear, simple, and direct to create a sense of urgency and action based on facts and data.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, scheduling, and/or product management roles within the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Skills:

  • This role requires strong organizational and time management skills. They must have a good understand of the Work that Matters Most and be a positive agent of change

  • Requirements Planning - ability to plan materials and service requirements in order to support ongoing business.

  • Forecasting - Demand - knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and inputs (e.g. business trends, seasonality, consumption patterns).
