As aBusiness Support Analyst 2within the Facilities and Support Program at the Georgia Department of Public Health,you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Job Responsibilities

Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in functional area. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues. Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment. May administer or provide high level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions. Assists with orientation, training, or providing task guidance of junior team members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submit Requisitions for all equipment and services related to Internal Services Operations.
  • Documenting and communicating required reporting requirements and procedures.
  • Assist Facilities director with Risk Management and Fleet Management tasks.
  • Support Asset Management and Facilities Management functions for the Agency.
  • Tracks and monitors critical tasks requiring maintenance compliance.
  • Gathers, compiles, and analyzes facilities relateddata to improve agency efficiency.
  • Assists with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience related to area of assignment.
