Location of the role

This role will be based in our European HQ in Amsterdam. The EU HQ will move to Haarlem in 2024.

You will be traveling mainly to other EU locations. The expected travel is around 20-30%.

The opportunity

In this dynamic role, on associate director level, you'll be responsible for development and implementation of the medical strategy for a new psychiatry product in launch phase, in Europe. You'll develop and execute regional launch readiness plan. This includes leading integrated medical planning, where you'll collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to create a cohesive strategy. You'll also engage with external stakeholders (experts, medical associations, patients’ organisations, etc.) to obtain insights and translate them into medical strategy. To ensure continuous learning, scientific advancement and exchange, you'll oversee data generation projects, development of publications, medical educational materials and data dissemination at the European congresses. Finally, you'll play a vital role in supporting country medical teams, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure their success.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Developing and executing EU medical launch plans for a psychiatry product.

  • Leading the strategic medical & brand planning for Teva's psychiatry product.

  • Contributing to the regional brand team and potentially the Global Matrix team.

  • Supporting clinical development with input on target product profile.

  • Overseeing and supporting the execution of Global studies in Europe.

  • Collaborating on scientific communication strategy, publications, and medical materials.

  • Building relationships with external experts and medical associations.

  • Serving as an internal medical expert for product and disease-related content.

  • Reviewing and approving promotional/educational materials.

  • Leading RWE data generation strategy and execution in Europe.

  • Planning and executing medical congresses, advisory board meetings, and educational events.

  • Reviewing and approving proposals for sponsored studies and collaborative research.

Your experience and qualifications

  • MD/PhD ,a background in clinical psychiatry would be additional value

  • Eperience in medical affairs, preferably in CNS.

  • Experience in scientific data generation and dissemination at congresses, via publications etc.

  • Experience in project, and budget management.

  • Experience in team management would be the additional value

  • Ambition to develop and growth within the organization

  • Diligent approach, hardworking attitude

  • Strategic thinking, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong work ethic and high ethical standards.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
